What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work as intended, to improve the visitor experience, and to provide information to the site's owners.
Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your device. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. Think of them as a website's way of recognising you on your next visit — for example, so you don't have to confirm your preferences again.
